Time To Give – Part 3

I.  Why Give?

1. Because I was _________________

"It is God Himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ago He planned that we should spend these lives in helping others." Ephesians 2:10

2. Because it proves I _________________

"...you are a part of the Body of Christ; and now you belong to Him...in order that we might be useful in the service of God." Romans 7:4

3. Because it gives my life  ____________

"Keep busy in your work for the Lord, since you know that nothing you do in the Lord's service is ever without value."  1 Corinthians 15:58

"...Only those who throw away their lives for my sake and for the sake of the good news will ever know what it means to really live."  Mark 8:35 

II.  How Do I Give?

1.  You give with your _________

"Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship." 

      Romans 12:1

"And they did not do as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God's will."  2 Corinthians 8:5

"The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being." Matthew 6:21

"I want each of you to take plenty of time to think it over and make up your own mind what you will give.  That will protect you against sob stories and arm-twisting.  God loves it when the give delights in the giving."

“ Do not be anxious about tomorrow.  God will take care of your tomorrow too.  Live one day at a time."

I.  Why Give?

1. Because I was CREATED TO GIVE

"It is God Himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ago He planned that we should spend these lives in helping others." Ephesians 2:10

2. Because it proves I BELONG TO CHRIST

"...you are a part of the Body of Christ; and now you belong to Him...in order that we might be useful in the service of God." Romans 7:4

3. Because it gives my life  MEANING

II.  How Do I Give?

1.  You give your LIFE
