Symtoms of what?

Apathy, withdrawal, nervesness, weakness, anxiety, mood swings, highly weakened immune system.
These are a list of symtoms of starvation. They dont start right away, they only start after a week or sometimes even two.
God gave us food for energy and to power our bodies, and if we do not eat, we will grow weaker and weaker until we experience all of the above and evertually die.
Food was so important to God that when His people were in the barren wilderness for 40 years he send them a miraculous bread called manna that appeared on the ground every morning for the people to eat.
Why? So that they would have strength to continue their journey to the promised land, so that they would have the ability to withstand all that the wilderness could throw at them. So that they they would have the stamina and energy to liove victroursly over their enemies.
Many Christains face very similar Synmpoms of starvation. but not from natuyal food. Jesus says this about Manna.
John 6:31–35 KJV 1900
31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. 32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. 34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. 35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
John 6:47–51 KJV 1900
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. 48 I am that bread of life. 49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
How many times a day do you eat of heaven bread? How often do you nurish and strengthen the inner man?
Ephesians 3:16 KJV 1900
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
Albany strengthens the outer man, Jesus strengthens the inner man.
God is the source and supplier of all spiritual strength. And by His strength we are able to do all that He asks of us.

God Gives Strength

Ephesians 6:10 KJV 1900
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Let me give you a revelation about how stregth works. There is an assumption that a christian, when faced with a heavy burden will miraculously be supplied with out of nowhere spiritual strength that will allow them to bear the burden with ease.
Histroy has proved this false.
Strength from God, like faith from God, must be cultivated, it must be nurtered, it starts off small, but through diligence grows big.
Heavy weight example.
Be diligent in the small things everyday. Feed on the bread everyday, all day and your strength will grow. neglect it and you will be weak.
the bible calls this: Being Spoiritually minded.
Romans 8:6 KJV 1900
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Strength comes through the Promise of God’s Presence

Joshua 1:9 KJV 1900
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Only by being diligent of God’s constant presence can we grow in strength.

Strength comes from the wonder of God’s Grace

2 Timothy 2:1 KJV 1900
1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
How diligent are you to be aware of Giod’s unfailing grace? How appriciative are you of this grace? Your lifesyle will show you. A life of sin shows a disreagrd fro that gtrace which gives you strength.
Romans 6:14–15 KJV 1900
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
A disregard for grace is nothing more than a turning your nose up at the bread of life, which again leaves you weak, frail and vunrible.
1 Samuel 17:45 KJV 1900
45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
