Reading: Psalm 107:1-9
Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men. Psalm 107:8 (NIV)

–    A message for the Redeemed

     –    Redeemed/ransomed from our enemy (2)

     –    Gathered from our scatteredness (3)

     –    From hunger and thirst (5, 9)

     –    From our troubles/distress (6)

     –    Out of the lonely desert, into a city/home (4,7)

–    Thanks for His Unfailing Love (8b)

     –    NET: “His loyal love”; NRSV “steadfast”

     –    Great is His faithfulness!

     –    Even tho we rebel (10-16; 15)

     –    Even tho we are so foolish (17-22, 21)

     –    In times of disaster (23-28, 33-34, 39-40; 31)

–    Thanks for His Wonderful deeds for us (8c)

     –    God is wondrous!

     –    His wonderful deeds (28-30, 35-38, 41)

     –    Not just history lessons!

     –    Amazingly, He is wonderful to us!
