The Bible is not written to you, but for you.
Question isn’t which god exists, but which God to you trust?
Or another way to put it: “The best way to keep a path alive is to keep/walk it.”
That’s what God was up to revealing HImself as a God of salvation, and teaching them how to trust HIm, and walk in His paths.
Last week saw preparation for this wasn’t in Mespotamia - btwn the rivers, -nor right away the land flowing with milk and honey - that was the goal - remember why so impoprtant -land bridge - whoever controls - place of greatest influence. - not ready for that yet,
But where is the palce God start to set up his nation - Egypt - greatest influence in world - many comparison God would use - King and god of nation - Pharoah - get to after life, have holy communion, adminster Ma’at

But whre eis real feritilyt prosperity found - Nile River out of a Rock , Shepherd in desert leads to water, proveides… Bedouin hostpiality of tent - those sheltering wings - serpahim, shelter under God…
Phaoaorah was SHEIK of great house = represents character ; But God’s house - “Eastern perspective , God’s Presence FACE = picture of intimacy = TABLE OF PRESENCE!!! Bread… = why no form, , only voice, Joshua gets Deut = Last will and testament = God word for all nations…
Scripture - not because more numerous, stronger, more righteous - my grace ; Why temple structure, like tabernacle - but God’s greatest desire = dwell among you - not grandeur for only Pharoah - but slave people in that first court - water basin in the wilderness - not just blood sacrifice for forgiveness - but cleansing - peace offerings like Passover - you come and you eat the meal with LORD!
Hopsitality middle east, tabernacle, whole offering, for people priest LORD, eat together vs. Garden of Eden - you ate with the snake?
God brought Israel/Jacob family into Egypt in time of famine - but in Egypt use all the pictures of Egypt, Nile, HOUSE , fertility - to show what type of Nation he will bring - Egypt used power for what Pyramids - 2 seasons…
= cartouch = like an ark between chaos and life … Egypt is that catouch, the world is out there. .. just can’t leave Pharoah replace him..
= God’s willing to go to the land of Seth to redeem his people, MOses land of punishment just save your poeople…

It was not because you were more in number than any other people that the Lord set his love on you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but it is because the Lord loves you and is keeping the oath that he swore to your fathers, that the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
