But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever—
They were observed to be uneducated and untrained men (vs 4:13); Yet they spoke with knowledge and boldness, and performed undeniable miracles.
When they prayed, they were ALL filled and spoke the Word boldly
And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch.
And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch. Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly. And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever—
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
We can learn from David to walk in the anointing and trust God
We can learn from David to walk in the anointing and trust God ( - 17)
David was anointed by Samuel (vs 16:13)
David was anointed by Samuel (vs 16:13)
He was anointed by Samuel and had a covenant with God (vs 16:13)
His anointed worship would cause the distressing spirit to cease when he worshiped.
His anointed worship would cause the distressing spirit to cease when he worshiped.
David prevailed in battle because he knew God was for him and had anointed him . He had confidence.
He saw the giant and the challenge through the eyes of the anointing
David had confidence under the anoin
Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”
The other soldiers (Saul) could have made the same declaration.
There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the Lord your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you.
David was criticized for his declaration
David encouraged 3 repetitions of Saul’s promises and made a declaration twice to encourage the warriors, then it came to Sauls attention.
It took 3 repetitions of his declarations before it came to Sauls attention
The king tried to discourage him from his confidence. (youth, inexperience, size)
How will you react when someone challenges your declaration of faith?
David gave his testimony of victories in God.
David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee.
Testimonies create faith in the hearers.
Saul letting him go is a miracle, Saul recognized the anointing.
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
Respect the anointing
Learn to shut off the competing noise
Saul tried to put his armor on David. Well meaning people will hear you, then try and offer carnal advice because your faith isn’t enough. Why listen? Saul was just as afraid as the rest of the army.
The giant mocked him as he approached. Our giant’s will also attempt to intimidate us as we confront them.
Learn to recognize and flow with the anointing
David let the anointing instruct him to keep his eyes on the covenant, and boldly proclaimed it to the giant.

Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”
As the giant approached, David ran at him. If you believe God
You have a covenant. Holy Spirit will teach you and help you to boldly walk in your anointing and proclaim covenant truths to your giants.
A helper does not take over for you, but works with you, encourages you, provides direction, etc.
And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.

If you believe God’s promises you will not run from your giant, but respect your anointing and run to the fight.
If you believe God’s promises you will not run from your giant, but run to the fight.
What giant are you facing today?
Holy Spirit wants you victorious and will equip you for victory!
