Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior; To Titus, a true son in our common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

“the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness”

The world back then and now teaches us that truth is known only by a special group.
The world now teaches that truth is only known by professionals, teachers, and Google.
The Word teaches us that the truth can be known to you.
The New King James Version (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1982), .
“acknowledge” - epignosis (knowledge coming upon you)
Truth is knowledge that has come from God.
John 14:6 NKJV
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Jesus kinda said that in
John 14:6 NKJV
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Jesus is the truth and He has come from God!
Have you received truth from God?
If you have... then you have experienced freedom
John 8:32 NKJV
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Acknowledging/accepting Jesus makes us godly. - (it is only by Jesus we can come to the Father).
If you are not set free by God then you are either a slave to sin, or a slave to depression, anger, hate, anxiety, irritability, self-pleasure.
If you need freedom then you should read ________
.
Eternal life

“hope in eternal life… promised long ago”

who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
There is many OT verses that show us that eternal life was the plan of God (; , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , .

We are to hope in eternal life.
Hope is a huge part in a christians life
There is 10 things in scripture I have seen:
1. The Second Coming (; )

2. The believer to be presented to God ()

What a waste in life in how most of us hope in more money, more popularity, better physical looks…
Kinda funny how most of us hope in riches, fame, better physical looks…
I wonder how your life would change if you placed most of your hope in eternal life?
What would happen if we hoped in things that matter?
John 3:16 NKJV
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
well our perspective would be correct...
we would realize most of the things that cause us to worry, and freak out over really dont matter...
but you know most of you will just continue to hope in stupid things…

“preaching” - committed/called, & commanded

Some of us commited/called to preach the Gospel ()
All of us are commanded to preach the Gospel ()
WHAT???
This means some of us are gifted in preaching but just because some of us are gifted in preaching does not mean that you don’t have to preach the gospel.
Just like you wouldn't want someone who is good at accounting own all of your money.
Just because your not as good does not mean you don’t have to share the gospel.
Jesus commanded me to preach the Gospel
Matthew 28:19 NKJV
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
If you love Jesus, and you hope in heaven.... why would you not tell others?
If you love a band you tell others if you hope to be
