We talked about the importance of love and loving like Jesus loved. Without love nothing we say will have any long term impact on anyone.
How do we love those around us when our cultures and beliefs look so different?
we can serve them by showing respect, listening to them and meeting their needs
We can set an example for them by living our life with Joy and integrity.
We can share Jesus with them. We can share our story of what Jesus has done and is doing in our lives.
As a Christian, Jesus tells us we are to love those who are away from God.
6 For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love.
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. 14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

When we consider sharing the Gospel, we are often encouraged to begin with our circle of influence. Think of people you interact with on a regular basis. What are some practical ways you can show them love? Share...
Last week, Pastor Robert talked to shift our focus away from what we are against and toward whar we are for. Considering the importance of loving people who may stand for things we oppose, discuss how this advice can be helpful. Consider those around you whom you interact with. What are some ways you can love them?
Sharing Jesus was the last point yesterday about how to love others. Why do you think it’s important to serve others and be an example before we share our testimony.
We mentioned the legalism of the Pharisees. How can a legalistic approach to Christianity affect how you love others?

Thank God for his love today. Ask HS to give you the strength to love others even when you struggle. Ask him to renew your mind today, and to help you set your eyes on Jesus, not the things of this world. Ask him to help you see your world though His eyes.
4 A person who speaks in tongues is strengthened personally, but one who speaks a word of prophecy strengthens the entire church. 5 I wish you could all speak in tongues, but even more I wish you could all prophesy. For prophecy is greater than speaking in tongues, unless someone interprets what you are saying so that the whole church will be strengthened. 6 Dear brothers and sisters, if I should come to you speaking in an unknown language, how would that help you? But if I bring you a revelation or some special knowledge or prophecy or teaching, that will be helpful. 7 Even lifeless instruments like the flute or the harp must play the notes clearly, or no one will recognize the melody. 8 And if the bugler doesn’t sound a clear call, how will the soldiers know they are being called to battle?
