Jehovah’s Witnesses
Jehovah’s Witnesses
They are a cult
They are twisted version of Christianity
They twist the Bible to fit their own agenda
They believe that Jesus was created
Believe that the archangel Michael went to earth and became Jesus
When Jesus died they believe that Jesus did not rise from the grave but remained in the grave and Michael the archangel rose
THEY ALSO believe that God’s first creation was Michael and that Michael created everything, not God
They don’t believe that Jesus died on a cross, they believe it was a steak, a single piece of wood straight up and down
HOWEVER, THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF THIS
They believe that Jesus has already returned since 1914 but instead of the Revelation as we think of Jesus coming and physical form they believe that God started an “invisible rule”
They do not believe in Heaven or Hell
They believe that when you die you stop existing they call it “Annihilation”
They believe that Hell is a fake place that Satan made up and spread
They do not believe that Jesus was God but that he was just a perfect man
They do not believe in the Trinity, the father son and spirit
They believe that the Holy Spirit is not a personal being but instead the power that God acts through
They believe in 3 classes of people in the world, The anointed, the great crowed, and the unsaved
We as Christians only believe there is 2 the saved and the unsaved
The anointed class are 144,000 people that are Jehovah's witnesses, these people will be raised with Christ and rule with him in a spiritual state, God stopped calling people into the anointed class in 1935
The Great crowd are also Jehovah’s witnesses that have not been chosen for the the anointed
They will cease to exist until God restores the Earth and then they will be revived in their original bodies
The unsaved will just cease to exist with no chance of coming back
They do not believe that Jesus alone is sufficient enough for salvation
To have salvation (be resurrected when God restores Earth) they say you have to
1: Take in knowledge of God (believe in their teachings)
2: Works are important (We believe that works do not earn salvation)
3: You have to be loyal to the Jehovah’s witnesses and be active in the cause
#3 is why they go door to door trying to talk to people about their religion, not because they love God so much but because they are told that is secures salvation
They have their own translation for the NT called the New World Translation where they change scripture to fit their beliefs
However, if you look back to the original translation of the Greek, you can plainly see that the translation they have made is false
This means that the Bible is so against the teachings of Jehovah’s witnesses that they had to change what it said to make it fit
