A. They saw an angel

B. They were counted faithful

C. They did what the Angel said

D. Unfaithful and no vision - Inn Keeper

1. Not seeing what God was doing

2. Not willing to be put out

3. Not willing to help

II. Shepherds (People with a vision)

A. They too saw an angel

B. They heard a message

C. They left all to see Jesus

1. A good shepherd would not leave his sheep

2. He could lose his job

3. They acted on the direction that God gave

III. Magi - Kings - Wise men (Optimistic People)

A. They saw only a star in the sky

B. They followed the direction of God’s Light

C. They risk all to find the Christ child

D. They too acted on what God told them.

E. Herod and his goons

1. Did not know about Jesus

2. Wanted to kill not worship

3. Self-centered

IV. Which group of people are we today

A. It takes all three to make the church work.

B. We should have a mix of all three in us.

C. Jesus must be the main attraction of our lives.

D. This is the real meaning of Christmas
