Introduction
When Paul was bound and chained for preaching the gospel standing before King Agrippa he made this statement.
Acts 26:8 ESV
8 Why is it thought incredible by any of you that God raises the dead?
Some would question why we go into all the world to preach and teach the message of Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the living God.
The answer is very simple. Jesus of Nazareth has risen from the dead just as he said he would.
Jesus said in
John 14:6 ESV
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Those that have experienced the resurrection of Christ and the blessedness of the Father have an obligation to share that message with the world.
1 John 1:3 ESV
3 that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
As Jesus was ascending up into heaven after walking the earth for 40 days after his resurrection He command his disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit that would empower them to be witness for this good news all around the world.
We are apart and a fulfillment of
Acts 1:8 ESV
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
When Jesus sent out the disciples to go town to town he told them this.
Matthew 10:16 ESV
16 “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.
The world of the gospel is so powerful that many have laid down their lives to share it. not fearing for their lives but freely giving it so that others can receive the fellowship and friendship with God that only comes through Jesus Christ.
To be wise means to know what is going on around you, to be strategic in your actions, to bring the maximum impact of this message to the world.
There are many places in the world that are opposed to the teachings of Christ. These are places that need the message and we must be wise in bring it to them.
One such place is the Muslim world. And sitting right in the middle of the Muslim nations in a oldest Christian nation on the planet. It’s a little country call Armenia.

Encourage and Strengthen Our Current Missionaries.

Araiyk and Nellie Safaryan

Reliant has been their faithful supporters for the past year.
We have paid for them to travel into Hopa, Turkey to witness to the Homshem people of Armenian decent.
They have made many solid relationships and have seen some come to Christ.
I have been a part of this effort since 2011 when I when with them to Hopa and saw the world first hand.

Jacob and Lisa Pursley

Jacob and Lisa have been in our church and spoke on two different occasions.
Jacob is a bold preacher of the gospel in Instambul, Turkey and was forced to move his family to Armenia because of death threats.
He is now building teams of Armenians that share the gospel in Turkey and will one day start churches there.

Our objectives

Check on their spiritual wellbeing.
Discuss the upcoming trips to Turkey and the bible distribution in Istambul.
Introduce these two and see if they can partner together.

Build new relationships through which we can leverage the gospel on a wider scale.

Ministry To the Yazidi Tribes in Armenia

A young couple that were saved from the Yazidi’s and are going back to a different yazidi tribe to share the gospel through a sports ministry.

Steve’s Ministry to Turkey

Steve is a Chinese American that has been in Armenia for the past 5 years. He organizes teams of young Armenians to take the native dance of Armenia into coffee shops and Theaters on the border towns of Turkey.
These teams have seen a lot of success as they hang out with the youth in the coffee shops building relationships and exchanging facebook messages. This allows ministry to continue on even after the event is over.

Empower through Discipleship

Teaching Discipleship in Bethlehem Church through the International Baptist Bible College.

180 is currently being translated into Armenian for them to use.
Teaching in another missionary school around town.
Taught all day on Thursday before we left and was very encouraged by the class of young married couples ready to put their life on the line for the gospel.
Met a man that attends at church called Logos. They are discipleship church with our philosophy of ministry. Now I need to connect Bethlehem with Logos so they have an Armenian example of Discipleship.
