01 The Upside Down Kingdom - Poverty in Spirit

The sermon on the mount is not about what we should do but who we should be. What we do comes out of who we are - being precedes doing. The quality of our actions is based on the quality of our character. The values of the earthly kingdom are radically different from those of the heavenly kingdom. It's an upside-down kingdom. We must humble ourselves before God. God creates out of nothing - until a man is nothing God can make nothing out of him.
