Priest-in-theHood EXODUS 28-29 Exodus 28:2 Make sacred garments for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor. And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty. Exodus 28: 12, 29, 38 12 and fasten them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel. Aaron is to bear the names on his shoulders as a memorial before the Lord. 29 “Whenever Aaron enters the Holy Place, he will bear the names of the sons of Israel over his heart on the breastpiece of decision as a contnuing memorial before the Lord. 38 It will be on Aaron’s forehead, and he will bear the guilt involved in the sacred gifs the Israelites consecrate, whatever their gifs may be. It will be on Aaron’s forehead contnually so that they will be acceptable to the Lord. Exodus 29:44 I will consecrate the tent of meetng and the altar.
