Jesus recruited Matthew to follow him and shares a meal with Matthew's fellow tax collectors. The Pharisees drop by and want to know why the tax collectors (instead of themselves) are eating with Jesus. Jesus explains how the tax collectors need healing. Then Jesus chides the Pharisees telling them that after all their studying and focus trying to follow God, they have missed the importance of mercy along the way.
