God makes an outrageous request of Abraham to sacrifice his son. Abraham obeyed God's command, but ultimately God stayed Abraham's hand and provided a ram to sacrifice instead. When God makes requests of us, sometimes the details distract or dissuade us. We need to obey, and we can trust that God will provide the resources to accomplish the task.
