Getting Unstuck
Wednesday something happened to me that caused the maybe the most pain that I have ever experienced before. I got up, drove my son to school and when I got home by back seized me up. I have never had this much pain in my life. In fact I fell down on the bed, and went uh oh, I couldn't get up. Thank God for hey Siri feature on my Iphone because I could not move,
I was Stuck.... and it got me too thinking, we have all those things in our life that can get us stuck in life.... And there are all sorts of things that can get us stuck in liufe
Dead In Job
We can get stuck in a dead in job. Where there is really no where to go and no chance for opportunity. We can stuck in debt… and this one particular sucks when your also stuck in a dead-in job.
Depression-
Food
Unhealthy eating habbits- I don’t know if you realize this or not but there is a direct correlation to the way that you take care of the Physical and how you take care of the spiritual
Alcohol-
Choices- Life altering choices that seemed like the right decision at the time but has led to a life of disappointment
Death- a death that was unexpected
We can get stuck in our marriages,
In whatever God has called you too can I tell you that he has called you to thrive. Listening to a message by Paige Henderson, Co Founder of Fellowship of the sword… She brought this little nugget oof treasure out.... God called Adam and Eve to thrive....
26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

in the image of God he created him;

FRUITFUL- literal meaning is “thrive in fruitfulness” not just be fruitful… but to thrive in fruitfulness. Can I ask you a question. Are you thriving? Now the immediate contect is speaking of procreation. But it doesn’t jsut speak of procreation. God desires you and I to be fruitful to thrive… Jesus desires you to be fuitfull.... I am nbot asking you if you are blessed… If you are blessed it will show forth in fruitfulness
Do you know that it is Jesus desire to bless you with fruitfulness… You say are you sure pastor? I mean didn’t he call us to a cross? Yes he did, but that is so that you will be fruitful.... You have to die to self, because men love darkness, their deeds are done in darkness. Everything fleshly and carnal my flesh loves it… But He calls us to die to self so that we will live in fruitdfullness
You don’t hink that god desires you to be fruitful?
16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
John 15
Jesus desires for you to thrive.... Jesus desires for you to be fully alive!!!
I didn’t say tht god desires you to live High, Wide and handsome! I didn’t say God desires you to live in the biggest house on the block, to be the greatest sales person this side of the Rio grande. io didn’t say that God desires you to drive a new mercedes… He doesn’t bless so that you become a self consumed narcissist. But He does desire for you to thrive, to be fruitful, to enjoy a fruitful walk with Almighty God.

And when we get stuck the easy thing, the thing that takes the least bit of resistance is that you stay stuck.
We need a Change of Mind- Transformation
The Bible speaks of us not having a mind like Christ but the Mind of Christ
Six Characteristics of a Christlike Mind
Alive- The Mind set on the Spirit is life and peace
6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

So everythday the Lord is inviting you and I to a feast. Daily we have a choice to make. Am I going to surender myself to the heart of God. Am I going to feast in His presence. Or today am I going to feast my mind on the things of the flesh. Am I going to indulge in raunchy living, am I going to get caught up in the lust, drama and gossip of the World? Or am I going to present myself as a living sacrifice today… Holy and acceptable.
Without the Lord we are dead, led astray by sin and lust… But the mind of Christ is alive, full of righteousness. Taking every thought captive in obedience to Christ
2. Single Minded-
3 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

This truth is proudly simple but it is simply profound.... Where do wars start from? James tells us in it is not from yourt sinful passions inside. You want what you cant have so you steal and murder… You have not because you ask not. You ask and do not recieve because you ask amiss. You are filled with turmoil when your attention gets off of a pure devotion and simplicity to Jesus
3. Lowly-
Philippians 2:3
thrive in fruitfulness
3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
Do you know why so many are insecure? Because they are in competition? Yeah there is a spirit of competition.... And you get timid when you feel like you are losing in that competition. Can I tell you that it is a blessing to be around humble people. People that understand they have nonething to prove, they have no need to prove their selves to anyone. And instead of that competitive spirit, they have that servant spirit. They honor others above themselves, and serve others and you know what they actually work themselves into the driver seat, because everyone loves being around people that they feel like make them better.....
Do you know what else will happen when you learn how to operate in humility, and learn how to take the back seat to others, God will give you the front seat...
In fact this principle is throughout all of scripture.... In fact Phillipians 2
6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Philippians 2:6
Because He emptied himself, though in the very form God did not considered that as something that needed to be held onto but chose the form of a servent, and became obedient even to the point of death, Therefore God has given him a name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow...
You need to learn that the economy of God is different than the economy of God. In Mans economy its get to get… In God’s econoimy its give to give, an in the process you will get because God gives.
Do you want honor? You don’t get honor by forcing others to honor you. You get honor by humbloing yourself. Becaus eGod resists the proud but gvies grace to the humble. You need money, Work, work hard, and then give. You know why some of you are broke, because yopu don’t support the Kingdom with your money. God says to bring the tithe into the storehouse so that there will be meat to eat. But youa re cursed with a curse because you have taken that which belings to God and consumned it on your pleasures. Most people don’t even love God more than a dime out of every dollar that He gives you.
10 But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place, so that when your host comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all who sit at table with you.
4. Pure -
15 To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled.

We need a Change of Heart- Repentance
NOw the Bible does teach that man is hopeless in his or her depravity- Depravity is the theological term for your lostness, its speaks of the curse of sin laden within the human heat. Jeremiah
9 The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately sick;
who can understand it?
This is the problem of all of our woes. The heart of the Human Problem is the Problem with the human heart. Sin lies at the door, and its desire is for us. To devour and destroy us. Our heart is susceptible to delusion, and suspect of corruption.
The heart must be taught wisdom, but more than nanything the heart needs a full replacement.
We need to deal with the sin. You cannot live a full life with sin in the equation. Satans decieves us, so he can defile us, so He can destroy us. You struggling with siuicidal thoughts? Deal with the sin. Are you dealing with depression. Deal with the sin. What is that things that keeps dragging you back into the bowels of destructionm
25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. 26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.

Need a Change in Routine- Intentional
Few people get with their going without being intentional. And if you are going to life a life Fully Alive. If you are going to have a great marriage. if you are going to have a great relationship with God you are going to have to be intentional.
In the Garden of Eden man was given a Garden by God, but God told him to tend to it.
If you are going to have a great marriage, work on it. If you are going to have a great carrier work on it. If you are going to get free from addiction, throw the dang piulls in the toilet and find a new doctor, one that wont just fall for your theatrics when you go into the Hospital room.
I am reading a Book called Outliers right now.... and they looked at those that mastered any form of human endevour. rather its music, or martial arts, sales, whatever… do you know what they found? That natural talent had very little to do with their mastery. Do you know what the common factor was? About 10,0000 hours of practice.
But your like what about that kid that has been playing Mozart at the age of 3? Listen forget that kid.
We need a change in routine. We need a change in how we deal with one another? Listen you want your husband to respond to you a little better, quite nagging at him about every little thing. You want your kid to respond to you, quite riding him . Want your marriage to have a little more spice? Go on a diet, buy some new clothes and learn some charm.
Want the atmospehere at your work place to be different start being a light. Start responding in love, instead of ripping everyone aroudn you or worried about winning some theological argument. Jesus never said that you would win others by winning others, he said people will know that you are my disciples by the way that you love one another. But He did say be prepared to give an answer for those that ask the question for the hope that you have in Him. the thing is is that our life would be so abundant and full, that people would see us fully alive in Christ that they would say, you know what is it about you?
