“I heard about this Mother,
One Sunday morning
she went into her son's bedroom and she said,
"Son, wake up. It's time to go to church."
He kinda groaned and rolled over and said,
"No Mom, I'm not going to church today."
She said, "What do you mean you're not going?
Why not?"
He said, "Mom, I'll give you two good reasons.
Number one, I don't like those people.
And number two, they don't like me."
She said, "Son, that's no excuse.
I'll give you two Better reasons why you SHOULD go.
Number one, you're fifty-nine years old
and number two, you're the Pastor.”
“Remember, God is more interested in developing your character than keeping you comfortable.”
Prayer:
Give us the endurance and the strength when we are offended to not run and hide or isolate ourselves, or defend ourselves when we are falsely accused, that we not grow bitter but are blessed in the process of growth and that we have the power and desire, not to take matters into our own hands.
“ME—Sometimes I find myself wondering how to respond to unfair treatment.”
“WE—I bet you’ve have found yourself in unfair situations and you weren’t sure what to do either. RIGHT?”
When we think of Joseph and his brothers, and that woman who lied on him and got him imprisoned and then he prophesied from prison but was forgotten.
It all seemed so unfair, what God had allowed.
The Bible teaches that we are to “Trust God’s ability and to be confident”
(AMP)
In God have I put my trust and confident reliance; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
“Promotion comes from your enemies. Trials come from your friends and family.”
What the Enemy meant for your destruction, God used it for your promotion.
Joseph was blessed and his father had named his son,
Manasseh (ma-nas’-seh) = One who causes to forget; forgetting; forgetfulness; causing forgetfulness; (root = to forget; to be forgotten; to cause to forget).
He was named that because it represented forgetting what the family had done to him in the past.
Manasseh was in the womb during the time of disappointment and silence.
“Sometimes heaven can be silent. But in those silent times something powerful is happening deep inside. You’re developing a greater confidence in Him.”
There is a birthing of Manasseh coming to your life.
Your Blessing will be so much greater than your test
“You will forget”
"I encourage you to believe for big things, "Let Go of the past"
"Forgive the people that did you wrong"
"Forgive yourself and start afresh and anew."
“YOU— “Never put a question mark where God has put a period. When something is over and done, let it go and move on to the next chapter of your life.”
Remember “what we plant, we will harvest”
I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness,
and you will harvest a crop of love.
Plow up the hard ground of your hearts,
for now is the time to seek the Lord,
that he may come
and shower righteousness upon you.’
and you will harvest a crop of love.
Plow up the hard ground of your hearts,
for now is the time to seek the Lord,
that he may come
and shower righteousness upon you.’

“WE—Imagine what would happen in our country or churches today,
If we all applied the scripture and became sowers of peace,
And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.
