Commissioned

Introduction
God wants to speak, work and move in our lives so we are not INTIMIDATED in any way, but empowered to accomplish His great plans for our lives!
The world is impacted by Spirit lead; spirit filled and spirit motivated people & churches all over the earth.
The theme this week is “Commissioned.”
2 Timothy 1:9–11 NIV
He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher.
Commissioned Defined:
a. The act of granting certain powers or the authority to carry out a particular task or duty.
b. The authority granted.
c. The matter or task authorized
d. A document conferring such authorization.
1. You and I have been saved – SOZO’ed - Saved, healed, delivered and restored.
You and I have been saved – SOZO’d - Saved, healed, delivered and restored.
He completes us! Part of the commissioning this week may involve moments of healing, deliverance restoration and release!
He completes us! Part of the commissioning this week may involve moments of healing, deliverance restoration and release! God is going to add to your life, a wholeness and completeness.
2. You and I are called to a holy life – We are called to something new, something holy, something that sets us apart for His use!
This week many will be asked by God to let Him do something in them that will set them apart from the normal and the convenient. Holy – Set apart for ceremonial use!
God will affirm and confirm His will to you and others.
3. Not according to anything we have done
The day we recognize that this is all about HIM we will begin to walk in the authority HE has given us. Prophetic is at times the most humbling thing, because we can’t do this without him.
4. But according to His own PURPOSE & GRACE.
Purpose has to do with Gods plan or intention for your life.
Purpose defines the assignment of your life.
Purpose answers the whys of life? Why am I here, why do I gravitate to certain things, why do I do what I do? Why am I like that?
When God speaks over us He gives us clues to our identity, purpose and role.
When God speaks over us He gives us clues to our identity, purpose and role.
God has a purpose and intention for every individual and church and will reveal them to us in His time.
Grace is the divine influence upon the heart and it’s reflection in the life of a believer.
Grace is His desire within you and His ability working through you to accomplish what he has called and purposed for your life.
Grace is the power and enablement of God to accomplish what He has commissioned you to do!
5. And of this gospel I was appointed (commissioned) a herald and an apostle and a teacher.
Paul understood His role & gifts– He was a Herald, Apostle, and teacher.
What’s your role & gifts? What part do you play in establishing God’s Kingdom?
We all have a role to play, and God wants to speak to it so we can walk in it!
This week God will speak to some of the roles & gifts in your life. He will anoint you for purpose!
Conclusion
1985 – My first ever presbytery a man named Barry White from Ireland spoke over my life. 22 years old!
God's hand…He's going to take your life, he's going to make it one that will be pliable, if you will remain steadfast and sure, you're going to rise up and ride upon the high places of the earth and you're going to be a mouthpiece for the living God…You'll be one that people will come and ask for instruction. You will prophecy, You’re going to travel the world and share the word of God and minister with other brothers. God will use you.
Promise – Process – Provision
Let’s pray!
