Intro: The Sun makes life possible on Earth. Earth is in the right spot that it rotates in 24 hours that evenly share the sun’s light with the earth. The sun helps the plants to absorb the carbon dioxide and produces oxygen through photosynthesis.
The Sun is also responsible for keeping the earth in orbit. Gravity is very important to us. We could not live on Earth without it. The sun's gravity keeps Earth in orbit around it, keeping us at a comfortable distance to enjoy the sun's light and warmth. It holds down our atmosphere and the air we need to breath. Gravity is what holds our world together.
Being with Jesus is to be in the presence of the resurrected savior. Jesus said the proof of him being the Messiah is the lame walk, blind receive sight, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf her, the dead are raised to life and the Good News is preached to the poor. When the Jesus is present healing is all around, his blessings are all around. We know this great power because of the resurrection.
Matthew 11:5 NLT
5 the blind see, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor.”

Power of the Resurrection

Acts 4:1–2 NLT
1 While Peter and John were speaking to the people, they were confronted by the priests, the captain of the Temple guard, and some of the Sadducees. 2 These leaders were very disturbed that Peter and John were teaching the people that through Jesus there is a resurrection of the dead.
Acts 4:1-2
Power to live a new life in the Presence of the Son
2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT
17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
1 Corinthians 15:54 NLT
54 Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Just like the Sun shines on the earth and ushers in new life so does life in the Son of God show us new life.
The old life has pass away and the new life has begun.
Jesus is the Life and the resurrection
John 11:15–26 NLT
15 And for your sakes, I’m glad I wasn’t there, for now you will really believe. Come, let’s go see him.” 16 Thomas, nicknamed the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let’s go, too—and die with Jesus.” 17 When Jesus arrived at Bethany, he was told that Lazarus had already been in his grave for four days. 18 Bethany was only a few miles down the road from Jerusalem, 19 and many of the people had come to console Martha and Mary in their loss. 20 When Martha got word that Jesus was coming, she went to meet him. But Mary stayed in the house. 21 Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask.” 23 Jesus told her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24 “Yes,” Martha said, “he will rise when everyone else rises, at the last day.” 25 Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. 26 Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”
John 11:25–26 NLT
25 Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. 26 Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”
Experience the power of God in your life.
d

23 Jesus told her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24 “Yes,” Martha said, “he will rise when everyone else rises, at the last day.” 25 Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.
John 11:23 NLT
23 Jesus told her, “Your brother will rise again.”

11 Then he said, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but now I will go and wake him up.”
John 11:25–26 NLT
25 Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. 26 Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”

Acts 4:8
Acts 4:8–11 NLT
8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of our people, 9 are we being questioned today because we’ve done a good deed for a crippled man? Do you want to know how he was healed? 10 Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, the man you crucified but whom God raised from the dead. 11 For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’
God is in the blessing business for all who trust in Jesus.
People rejecting the Lord does not stop the Lord from blessing the faithful.
Acts 4:12 NLT
12 There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”

Only Jesus can save us.

No other name under heaven has the power to save but Jesus.
God is so good in blessing us for his glory.

Tell people about how Jesus has saved you.

Acts 4:13–18 NLT
13 The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus. 14 But since they could see the man who had been healed standing right there among them, there was nothing the council could say. 15 So they ordered Peter and John out of the council chamber and conferred among themselves. 16 “What should we do with these men?” they asked each other. “We can’t deny that they have performed a miraculous sign, and everybody in Jerusalem knows about it. 17 But to keep them from spreading their propaganda any further, we must warn them not to speak to anyone in Jesus’ name again.” 18 So they called the apostles back in and commanded them never again to speak or teach in the name of Jesus.

All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.
Ephesians 3:18–21 NLT
18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. 20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
