Take a piece of paper.
You are going to outline elements of the story of God’s goodness revealed in your life.
Identify several ways that God has revealed himself to you, or you suspect, or that you think it could have been (skepticism and absolute faith—anything in between)
Identify ways that evil has been foisted upon you. Victim, innocent, agent, accomplice, guilty, all of the above.
What are somethings you know about God, hope about God, suspect about God?
Think of ways that you have seen the hand of God amidst the evil and trials of life?
While we can never truly know why things have happened as they have in our life, are you willing to consider that God can lead you into his goodness?
