John 8:31-38 - The Truth Will Set You Free

As horrific as slavery is, particularly the American slave, there is a greater slavery that is still taking place today. A slavery with greater ramifications for you and I. A slavery that is not a respecter of persons. A slavery that does not know race or color or ethnicity. A slavery that has subjugated all of mankind. In this passage Jesus challenges the crowd with the reality of their enslavement to sin and the redemption they can have from that enslavement to sin.
