Certainly we saw an increase in the number of persons being reached by the church, but we did not see an increase in proportion to the number of visits being made.  We found that because of the numerous visits being made some prospects were becoming intimidated.  As the emphasis was placed upon the number of visits the quality of visits decreased.  Later we learned that it would be best to emphasize the number of persons who actually made visits rather than the number of visits being made.  This has done much to improve the quality of the visits and to give more purposefulness to our work.  Visitors enter a home relaxed and do a better job.  It is better to make two or three good calls than to make six or seven hurried ones.
