Good morning if you would be turning your Bible to Daniel Chapter.

And this morning we are going to be talking about the last days....

No wI am sure that many of you ahve heard preachers talk about the last days, every one of them sure that they would see the Lord return in their life time.

Many of those preachers over the last two thousand years, have preached it with passion, with conviction but died not seeing the Lords return.

In fact the disciples and the authors of the new testament thought that the return of Christ would return within their life time

So let me ask you a question.

Were these men wrong to believe such things?

Or did Jesus lie to them and say ahhh spend the rest of your life waiting for me to return.

No they were wrong to believe that the Lord would return in their lifetime, The preachers that have sll tearfully urged people to hear the words of the goepl and be saved weren’t wrong, and today I am not wrong to tell you to be prepared for the coming of the Lord.

What Jesus did teach, was be ready!

For he can come at any moment of any hour of any day...

The point is be ready when the time comes… Don’t be ashamed when he comes because you are lounging around and wallowing in the sin that He has saved you from be ready....

Jesus likened His second coming to the days of Noah---\

Matthew 24:36

The point is in the days of Noah, Noah preached and begged and pleaed that the people turn from their sinfgul ways, pleaded with them to get on the ark of safety, But days, followed by months, followed by years… In fact 120 years passed until one day, Noah heard the voice of the Lord, the the Lord said, Noah its time… Noah said today, today is the day Lord.

Its time… Noah must have hopped out of bed gathered his family and all of eight people got ontop the Ark and were saved....

There is coming a day when the Father will look at the son, and say to the Son…Son its time go and get your bride.....

And in the twinkling of the eye the dead in Christ will raise and at the sound of the Trumpet we will be translated....

So when the Bible speaks of the Final days, or evenn the final hour,,,, it is not saying that is is going to happen quickly.

Last doesn’t mean short, alst means final… Final days!! Final days of what?

Final days of whet God has been doinng since the fall of man, and how He has worked throughout the centuries

Creation, Fall, then covenant, then law, The the Cross… Everything was leading up to the cross.... when in the fullness of time the Son of Good would be born of a woman… live a perfect life and die for the sins of humanity.... Here’s the thing when Jesus came back to life… the clock started to wind down… and there will be a final year, a final month, on a final day, and the appointed hour when the trumpet blast will sound and the King will return… and as the Word of God says the tribes of the Earth will wail on the account of his appearing...

Last days menas, Final, God doesn’t have another plan or program… There aren’t anymore Prophetws that are coming to give us a new message, a different means of salvation… god in theese final days has given us a Son… the son of God.

And when he tore asunder the bars of death .... the world began to operate on borrowed time.... Yous ay borrowed time… Yes borrowed

We are living in a day of grace… Whosever ever will come, let him come… Theres nothing you have done thats so bad God can’t won’t or don’t fogive.

You can have salvation adn have it to the full in Jesus Christ

You may look around at the crazinerss.. the hate, the wicked sin, the compromising, the going along to get along, listen Jesus hasn’t called you to be nice, God has called you to be separate....

What is the World coming too, the World is coming to Christ…

Times of the signs are like

If you have your Bibles open up to the old Testament book of Daniel.

Daniel Chapter 7

Be Alert- Don’t let spiriual apathy set in.. Fan into flames

In God allows Daniel to see a vision of the Final Days.... Daniel was no local low scale prophet… Oh no Daniel was a prophet that was allowed to propcy about the the largets and only one world govermemnts… In this viosion He prophecies about the first world Empire the babylonians, then the Persians ruled the world afterward.

Then afterwards He prophecies about the mighty Greek Empire, and describes that Empire as a Leopard with four Wings, with four heads....

It speaks of the great speed in Which Alexander the Great would conquer the Civilizewd world in His Time.

He conquered eurpose, the Middle wast and made it all the way to India....

But He would die very early, and when He died, the Kingdom was divided up under His Four Generals… And then He prophcies about the Roman Empire...

Daniel 7:7

And this certainly describes the Romans… They ruled with an iron fist, They completely crushed their enemies, such was their violence that they are describes simply as a beast,a s a monster… The Roman Empire lasted for 1500 years… in one for or another.

Too help you put that in perspective… America is not even 250 years old yet…

The Romans were known for their brute force and brutality.... and then out of the beasts Head there are ten horns… Well this horn speaks of ten Kings that will coalesce

Horn- Speaks of power in the Old Testament… And here is identifies a group of ten kings that will bring their collective power and influence toegether and will dominate the world....

But Daniel sees another vision a smaller horn that takes out three of the others and H

He will have a blasphemous mouth......

His Arrival- Time of Crisis.

He will think to change the times and laws.

The Last Time that we saw an anti Christ figure was just 80 years ago.

In Hitler.

How did Hitler rise to power.

Through great turmoil.

The German people were tired of the economic strain.

Karl Mark- the mastermind behind Communism once sad-

Now this sea that He rises out of, is not a sea of water, but a sea of humanity.

Out of the mobs of people.

They are restless, there will be great chaos and violence on the earth.

Great turmoil, like the world has never seen before.

It will be a time when the world will be crying out for a messiah, someone to deliver them.

And during this time, Satans Superman will come out of the shadow,s.

He will rise out of the sea.

HIS ATTRIBUTES-

Look at again

Anti-Christ will be an amalgamation of previous Anti-christ’s and Leaders.

Leopard- That’s how Daniel Described Alexander the Great- He will conquer with great speed.

When things begin to happen, they will happen very quickly

....its feet like a bear- That described the Persian- Medes empire-Under Cyril the Great.

His Mouth is like a Lions Mouth- A lion was the description

Like a bear- That described the Persian Ruler-

Mouth Like a Lion- Speaks of Nebudchenezzar- Babylonian- He will have great arrogance- He will speak of the Most High without a single shred of fear....

There has always been an antichrist waiting in the wings… Why?

Because the Devil doesn’t know when His time is up.

But He has to stay prepared.

Even right now Satan has a man, waiting in the shadows.

Waiting gto do His bidding.

HIS AUTHORITY

How is this man able to do all these things?

Look now where the Anti Christs strength come from?

rEVELATION 13

this man has a power source.

You say what does that mean.

This man’s power will come from the devil himself.

The way this man is able to rule and reign is by the power and authority of Satan.

Look at it again… And the Dragon gave his power and his throne… You see the Bible makes it clear that behind the power of goverments across the world, stands the Prince of Darkness.

And when the time comes this man, this anti- christ will bow down and give every fiber of his heart to the devil.

And as Hebrews says of Jesus, the Father says to jesus today you are my son… So there will come a day when the Devil will say to this man- today you are my son… As Jesus was able to say…a s you see me you see my Father… This anit-Christ will be able to say as you see me you see my Father

This man , the antichrist will be jsut as hateful,just as ruthless, just as his Father is… Who is this man of sins Father?
