*What our Life response to Him should be*
Matt.2:
11
Matt 2:11
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

A Life that responds to giving up –“ they fell down*”--- give up illustration—( during the first Gulf war in 91 I remember watching Iraqi troops who were surrendering by the 100s to the coalition forces when they got far enough into the country)
As I watched the young ones prostrating themselves before the Lord imitating what the wise men did years ago, it speaks volumes to us of surrender--giving up our wills, our emotions our all to Him.
God I give you my family, my job my resources…… They fell down---Phil 2:9-119 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of/ things/ in heaven, and/ things/ in earth, and/ things/ under the earth; 11 And/ that/ every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ/ is/ Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
*II.
A life that responds in His worship*----*worship,* the attitude and acts of reverence to a deity.
The term ‘worship’ in the old testament translates the Hebrew word meaning ‘to bow down, prostrate oneself,’ a posture indicating reverence and homage given to a lord, whether human or divine.
The concept of worship is sometimes mistaken in our culture.
Many believe that worship means just coming to a worship service, but it is much deeper than that.
The concept of worship is expressed by the term ‘serve.’
These men were also wealthy, and they were scholars—scientists in their own right.
No scholarly person who follows the light God gives him can miss worshiping at the feet of Jesus.
In Jesus Christ “are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” Col 2:3----3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Col 2:9 --9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

We give our best to Him* ----
A.
That the gold was presented to the infant King in token of His royalty; It spoke to the fact that their best was given
B.
The frankincense in token of His divinity-----“Frankincense” was an aromatic used in sacrificial offerings:
.
C.
The myrrh, of His sufferings; His sacrifice and death (myrrh was used for embalming).
But that the feelings of these devout givers are to be seen in the richness of their gifts.
They gave the best that was theirs to Him.
Our life response to Him this morning is that we’re to give Him our best.
The best of our time, resources and life.
It is truly the best investment going today
Are you surrendered to Him today?
Did you begin with your heart?
Many get it out of order and try to serve Jesus without the Holy Spirits presence in their life.
Are you worshipping Him today?
Are you giving Him your best?----
He is so worthy of
