Day 1

Introduction

The nature and character of GOD

We are going to learn from GOD about himself - what has GOD said about himself.

So, who is GOD and what is GOD?

What - the lesson hers is that GOD is real.

Who - is a person.

He is personal.

He knows you.

Do you know him?

GOD is Eternal

GOD Unchangeable

GOD is holy and just

GOD is also merciful and gracious.

The Gospel

The Gospel is good news.

Jesus Christ is the good news.

The good news is a gift and when you have the faith to believe, do not harden your heart.

Have you believe in Jesus Christ?

Salvation 1 - faith

All children of GOD has saving faith - its a gift.

Our job is to grow this gift/faith from GOD.

This is how we grow the faith that GOD has given us.

The Bible.

Prayer.

Worship.

Fellowship.

Witnessing.

Salvation 2 - repentance

This is the true mark of a child of GOD - being ready and willing to repent.

This will also be a constant feature in the Christian walk.

Being poor in spirit and to mourn are blessing and who we are as a child of GOD.

The way to repentant

Sanctification - Be ye holy as the LORD is holy.

Christians are different.

We have a new identity

We are;

a child of GOD

an ambassoder

salt and light of the world

As such, we live differently from the world.

Holiness and godliness is our calling.

GOD has a purpose saving each of you in this part of the world.
