What does my identity look like? Right that is like the hardest question that people try to uninstall Who Am I who walk through life wondering who we are today? We feel like

Well tomorrow is actually too far this moment you feel like I'm doing great. I have everything under control and the next moment you like. I don't even know why I am here. I don't. so if it's difficult to answer but yet it is the most important question in our lives because if we do not know who we are then how can we leave who we are supposed to be? How can we leave out the lies that God predestined for us if we don't know what those look like. So that's what we're going to try to look at when I say, I forgot what I need to talk about all the blessings that he has in store for us to send me some things you are but he wanted to say something different. So where I come from we have a tribe is called the bag and I'm from Uganda every time a man or woman stands to introduce themselves. They say hey, my name is Sharon whatever my parents are I'm the daughter of mine and this woman. I am the granddaughter of this man and this woman who Most likely I did but they will mention whether a bird. So I am the daughter of the granddaughter of this man and this woman whoever.

The way right because to those people identity is your family identity are the people who bought you and the people whom gots very much all of those people. That's where they find out price that's where they find their sense of belonging and for some people in your father is really reach you always will say, yes, and they will always mention that because they feel like just themselves is not a nobody knows them. So they so they will always talk about that rich parents for other people. Is there drugs. My name is Karen. I work at a revenue Canada or whatever and you find that hard to even just turned up and introduce themselves without mentioning where they walk out if somebody saying, who are you? Can you answer that question without talking about your job, right? If somebody asks you are you can you answer that question without talking about this so many years you worked at a certain place, right? Because those things are not your identity. Your identity has nothing to do with all of those. Even in the church with Corey fiber things actually seems like marriage, right? So I am sure how about the Sharon who is been married? How about the Sharon who is divorced? How about the shoe? Run? Whose husband really brings no honor to have the right one. How do they introduce themselves? Right? I'm going to say. Oh I am Mama Rebecca or Mama whatever. How about if you didn't have children, right? So even those things are very much if those in the church is right that we will try to talk about them. But who are we right? I'm not defined based on who we are in and out of a cell but we are defined as a person who got is right what she does Bernard and the destiny that he has Appointed for us as children of God that should be our identity is what he does and what he has destined you need. We need to constantly be reminded by a preacher of the things that we are.

Yes, I would have given us the greatest blessings of all blessing is for us to be his children and God blessing comes with all the abundance that comes with being a child. How are children in houses treated to running home? They treated differently than anybody else walked into that home. If you have to run you treat them differently from everybody else to meet. So that's why when you are a child in a house, you have a lot more peace and anybody else who walks into that house. Yeah, and I don't think that we need to remember is that discovering God identity in Jesus is not only to our benefit. The Lord has blessed interest in you discovering your identity and leaving it out. Amen. Scripture says that he and his will amen. It is up to the pleasure of the Lord that we will be his children. Through Christ Jesus before he would be so pleased if we were his children, right it is his will that we are his children, you know, sometimes also think when we said that we don't just become children of God when we come to him. That's not the cast wouldn't even just become full-grown of God when Jesus died on the cross because the scriptures say Behold the Lamb of God who was slain before the song. The point of creation God was thinking about you when he's thinking let us make man in our image. He's so what if month old right? I've been bored. What am I supposed to be? What am I supposed to be meditating on? What should I fill my mind with right, but it's how we get to know God spending time with him putting time in his word bright. Yes, but you can only know who you are when you really know your father many times.

Many times people do not know who they are because they do not have the stuff. I'm going to leave all your life trying to figure out who you are because you've had an absent father, right?

People who write the oldest come crumbling down, right because you're like right. Where should I fall? But talking about fathers who has been since we have to know that God is a father who is never absent. He is ever-present, right? He has given us throughout a line. That's not even some parents will stay or money your father until you're 18 after that dude you are on your own God doesn't do that, right he is he is willing to bother you to not tell you to just love on you. Your life and what does that mean? It means that you have on your life to form your identity. It means that you have all your life to keep going back to him and ask him who am I and he doesn't get tired of answering back right? I've been listening. Back to you. That's so cool. Very important. He wants us to be quiet, but he will lead you and guide you right? Yeah, I may be times. We have you know, self-doubt. I told that you was when we were before we came up here and I was like, well actually don't care about you because what am I going plans to speak to his people today? He's going to speak it regardless of who's leading worship regardless of who is thinking he will speak it. I am telling you that you won't lose your whole Sunday just because the people who led worship God didn't want them to he wants cause the whole chest to lose out there Sunday just because when we walked up on stage with a confidence that well what am I going to plant is going to do right? So we always have to remember that. You know what? You're not even though it's right that time. It says when I walk and I feel like yeah, I'm deserving of everything and then turns it on like no, I'm not. So my location is next week on Sunday, and I I have been named valedictorian.

If you constantly feel that your identity should be best of the things that you're building working on right you end up just being on the move the whole time and Absolutely miserable because you're building doesn't stand. Right, and then you will be the guy who has nothing. Right, if your identity is that think they're building and they fall then you will be the guy who is nothing.

I'm this is the beauty of your identity in Christ Jesus. I mean the Lord he never changes. She's going to be the same yesterday today and forever more he is the same so I'm going to be struggling because he thought we were being bad. We both like both said things and so it has been defined us-what buddy staying those shouldn't Define us and Not even all working the kingdom of God shoe designer. Shouldn't be out identity identity. No. Not the fact that we sometimes preached should be on identity know right? Because if we make that our identity then will lose sight of the fact that God's love is unconditional.
