The Holman Christian Standard Bible Chapter 41
10 Do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you; I will help you;
I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.
What do you use to mend a wounded Jack O’ Lantern?
A pumpkin patch.
Hey Steve,
Did you see the fence out front? Who painted that thing, it looks good?
This time of year with a lot of people going to spook houses there is a lot of talk about fear.

This time of year with a lot of people going to spook houses there is a lot of talk about fear.
Last night the boys thought they saw someone walking around close to the house. So I took a flashlight and off we went looking to see if there was someone. I was pretty sure that there was not anyone but I walked with them before we went to bed just to make them sleep better.
This verse tells us, do not fear, why? because I am with you. The great I am, the almighty God who created us, who created everything is with us at all times.
This great and mighty God, your God, my God, is our source of strength. The boys wanted me to go with them because I gave them a sense of security. How much more will the God of the Universe, the most powerful strength anywhere give us comfort.
We can walk wherever He leads us because He is with us. Those boys did not hold my hand while we walked around out there, but if I would have reached out and grabbed their hand they would not have let go.
This verse says He will hold on to us with His righteous hand. His hand is not only strong but it is righteous. Righteous is one of those big churchy words, that simply means we are made right before him. Because of our sin, our filthiness we can not be right before God, but at the right hand of God sits Jesus.
Who, because of dying on the cross made things right between us and God. But what we have to do is accept that right hand that is reaching out to protect us, and to make us right for all the wrong that we have done.
