Gods Presence is a Meeting Place

Exodus 25
Exodus 25:22 NKJV
And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.
From Moses encounter at the burning bush, it became a lifestyle for Him to meet with the presences of the Lord.
Today we have to many people that live their lives based off of one encounter, when that encounter was the very thing that should’ve launched us into lifestyle of meeting with His presence.
So we have:
Parents that parent without it.
Leaders that lead without it.
Marriages that attempt to survive without it.
Churches that do church with out it.
We have been created to be a presence driven people! We must have and we have got to have the presence of God to be active in our lives on a daily basis!
Can I just be real honest?

We have lost the Presence and we need to get it Back!

1 Chronicles 13:3 NKJV
and let us bring the ark of our God back to us, for we have not inquired at it since the days of Saul.”
1 Chronicles 13:3

1 Chronicles 13:7

We must Prepare a Place

1 Chronicles 15:1 NKJV
David built houses for himself in the City of David; and he prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched a tent for it.
1 Chronicles 15
When was the last time you found yourself at an old fashioned altar?
When is the last time you opened your life up Him and said, here I am come dwell in me?
God is not looking for a place to visit.
God is looking for a home.
1 Chronicles 17:7–14 NKJV
Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people Israel. And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and have made you a name like the name of the great men who are on the earth. Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously, since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel. Also I will subdue all your enemies. Furthermore I tell you that the Lord will build you a house. And it shall be, when your days are fulfilled, when you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your seed after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. I will be his Father, and he shall be My son; and I will not take My mercy away from him, as I took it from him who was before you. And I will establish him in My house and in My kingdom forever; and his throne shall be established forever.” ’ ”
