2 Timothy 4:9–21 ESV
9 Do your best to come to me soon. 10 For Demas, in love with this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. 11 Luke alone is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is very useful to me for ministry. 12 Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus. 13 When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, also the books, and above all the parchments. 14 Alexander the coppersmith did me great harm; the Lord will repay him according to his deeds. 15 Beware of him yourself, for he strongly opposed our message. 16 At my first defense no one came to stand by me, but all deserted me. May it not be charged against them! 17 But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth. 18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. 19 Greet Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus. 20 Erastus remained at Corinth, and I left Trophimus, who was ill, at Miletus. 21 Do your best to come before winter. Eubulus sends greetings to you, as do Pudens and Linus and Claudia and all the brothers.
:9-21
Demas - in a negative light
Colossians 4:12 ESV
12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.
Colossians 4:12–14 ESV
12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God. 13 For I bear him witness that he has worked hard for you and for those in Laodicea and in Hierapolis. 14 Luke the beloved physician greets you, as does Demas.
Philemon - Demas
Col 4:
Colossians 4:14 ESV
14 Luke the beloved physician greets you, as does Demas.
Philemon 24 ESV
24 and so do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers.
Philemon 4 ESV
4 I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers,
‘loving this present world’ - making a judgment about his heart.
Crescens has gone to Galatia - There is a church in Galatia which is close to Paul’s heart.
Also a letter from Polycarp to Crescens indicating him to be faithful to Christ.
Titus to Dalmatia - to do the work of God, continue the ministry that God has called him to. There is the book of Titus who is another faithful brother to Paul to whom Paul wrote
Titus 1:4 ESV
4 To Titus, my true child in a common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.
Titus was a builder
Luke
Colossians 4:14 ESV
14 Luke the beloved physician greets you, as does Demas.
Luke has been a fellow worker with Paul for a long time even been there in the shipwreck at Malta.
Mark also known as John.
Paul is in Rome and Timothy is in Ephesus so Mark might be somewhere in between Ephesus and Rome.
Mark was there with Paul and Barnabas.
Acts 15:36–39 ESV
36 And after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return and visit the brothers in every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.” 37 Now Barnabas wanted to take with them John called Mark. 38 But Paul thought best not to take with them one who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work. 39 And there arose a sharp disagreement, so that they separated from each other. Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus,
Colossians 4:10 ESV
10 Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, and Mark the cousin of Barnabas (concerning whom you have received instructions—if he comes to you, welcome him),
Acts 4:36 ESV
36 Thus Joseph, who was also called by the apostles Barnabas (which means son of encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus,
Barnabas - probably lived up to his name as someone who encourages and may have encouraged Mark in his walk with God.
Colossians 4:10 ESV
10 Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, and Mark the cousin of Barnabas (concerning whom you have received instructions—if he comes to you, welcome him),
Be faithful in our calling to preach the word.
Be sober minded, fulfill your ministry.
There must be a change in Mark
Tychicus - Paul may have sent the letter to Timothy though Tychicus. He has been given a gift by the Holy Spirit
Ephesians 6:21–22 ESV
21 So that you also may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord will tell you everything. 22 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are, and that he may encourage your hearts.
Romans 12:7 ESV
7 if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching;
Ephesians 6:22 ESV

1st and 2nd hearing. 1st hearing is to establish the charge - what the crime is.
2nd hearing is when the judgment is given - guilty or not.
1st hearing - no one came to his defense.
Acts 7:60 ESV

Acts 18:1–5 ESV
1 After this Paul left Athens and went to Corinth. 2 And he found a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. And he went to see them, 3 and because he was of the same trade he stayed with them and worked, for they were tentmakers by trade. 4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and tried to persuade Jews and Greeks. 5 When Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul was occupied with the word, testifying to the Jews that the Christ was Jesus.
Erastus - city treasurer
Trophimus -
Acts 20:1–6 ESV
1 After the uproar ceased, Paul sent for the disciples, and after encouraging them, he said farewell and departed for Macedonia. 2 When he had gone through those regions and had given them much encouragement, he came to Greece. 3 There he spent three months, and when a plot was made against him by the Jews as he was about to set sail for Syria, he decided to return through Macedonia. 4 Sopater the Berean, son of Pyrrhus, accompanied him; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timothy; and the Asians, Tychicus and Trophimus. 5 These went on ahead and were waiting for us at Troas, 6 but we sailed away from Philippi after the days of Unleavened Bread, and in five days we came to them at Troas, where we stayed for seven days.
