Why pray when God already knows what you need?

5 “When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get. 6 But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Faith in Jesus shows us his amazing Power!

Faith in Jesus shows us God’s glory.

Salvation is for those who place their faith in Jesus.

Like the lame man we too were born in an ill condition.

We were born in sin.

We are all guilty and in need of salvation.

23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

Jesus has the power to restore us when we call on the name of the Lord.

Our Response to the Power of Jesus is worship.

Acts 3:9–10 NLT

9 All the people saw him walking and heard him praising God. 10 When they realized he was the lame beggar they had seen so often at the Beautiful Gate, they were absolutely astounded!

Worship the Lord for what he has done in your life.

Take time to list what the Lord has done.

Take time to praise him.
