Healing in the Land Start with You!

King James Version (KJV)

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
I often remember growing up in church and hearing the saints say. “We are living in the last time”
ter yet that the hard times is a sign that Jesus is getting ready to come back.
The other week our country experience some really bad hardship. Hate sent bombs to prominent people in our nation. Hate shot two black people in Kentucky and here in my home town hate killed 11 people who were in worship and one of them was a prior patient of mine and to make it worst, The President of the Nation is spewing out hate and is fueling a base that has been a sleeping giant and they are self blinded by his rhetoric. I don’t know if we are living in the last times, because no man knows the day or the hour. But one thing I do know is that we are living in a sick land.
In my day job, I am the Senior Operations Manager but to many in my community people just know me as an activist. I see first hand that we are living in a sick land.
When iwe watch the news or speak to our neighbor, we often hear about a senseless shooting, someone has lost a job, a house or a loved one. Our land is sick. As I pondered on the thought of living in a sick land, the Lord brought to mine. The verse in itself is truly encouraging. But lets talk about the context of the verse.
Summary of the verse
Verse 13 says And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. 13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

So what’s it going to take?
I invite us to apply these next three point to our lives. Because it starts with you. It starts with us.
I invite you to live with Fearless grace.

31 When the Lord saw that Leah was not loved, he enabled her to conceive, but Rachel remained childless. 32 Leah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Reuben,[b] for she said, “It is because the Lord has seen my misery. Surely my husband will love me now.”
34 Again she conceived, and when she gave birth to a son she said, “Now at last my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons.” So he was named Levi.[d]
35 She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said, “This time I will praise the Lord.” So she named him Judah.[e] Then she stopped having children.

Fearless Grace - GRACE The gift of God as expressed in his actions of extending mercy, loving-kindness, and salvation to people.

Forgiven - You are not who you used to be. FORGIVENESS Pardon, involving restoration of broken relationships; ceasing to feel resentment for wrongs and offenses. Primarily, forgiveness is an act of God, releasing sinners from judgment and freeing them from the divine penalty of their sin. Since only God is holy, only God can forgive sin

Grace is the dimension of divine activity that enables God to confront human indifference and rebellion with an inexhaustible capacity to forgive and to bless.

Pray past your d
Love - , -So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. 16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
“Yes, Master, you know I love you.”
Jesus said, “Shepherd my sheep.”
17–19  Then he said it a third time: “Simon, son of John, do you love me?”
Peter was upset that he asked for the third time, “Do you love me?” so he answered, “Master, you know everything there is to know. You’ve got to know that I love you.”
My Sisters and Brothers and those who don’t conform to gender. The Lord tells us to feed his sheep. He says to show his love by producing. So you have to give back what the Lord blessed you with and he will continue to bless you. Just like Hannah…which leads me to my next point.

Pray past what your desire.
Story of Hannah - Hannah prayed past her desire. Her prayer was potent! Her prayer produced Samuel who became a Prophet and the Last Judge of Isreal. Her prayer gave Eli the priest a son because his sons were off the chain. Her prayer produced the man that anointed the first two kings of Israel! Her prayer gave her more children and Penniah produced no more. Don’t you want your prayers to heal your Land?
Believe in your is answered
Hannah took her anguish and gave it to the Lord. She took her enemies taunting and gave it to the Lord.
See we have a job to do. We can’t be all caught up in the drama. We don’t have time for it
We have a land that needs healed. So when you are going thru something you have to give it to the Lord.
When I talk to my mom about the problems I have she always say. Well Daughter, That’s a recipe made just for God…
learned to just give it to the Lord and sip my tea. Because I need to be about my fathers business,
You may be sitting there thinking how can I do anything? I’m alone, I’m broken, I have no money and I don’t know many people. My self esteem is crap. I have a church and I’m the only member.

King James Version (KJV

14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
You are listening on the church of the scattered flock. Which is a Jermiah 23 church. In verse 3- 4 reads. I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

You just need to have the faith of a mustard seed!
See it wasn’t just an anaolgy when Christ said we just have to have faith like the grain of the mustard seed and we could move moutains. Did you know the mustard seed is one of the strongest and largest of the garden plants. Its branches are large enough to allow a bird to perch on it. Y
ou see you are a child of God. You are a seed of God and just like that seed you have everything in it to heal this land. You have everything in you to fulfill your purpose. The mustard seed doesn’t need instructions because the bluprint was laid out for it a long time ago. And our Blueprint was laid out for us too. And our blue print was laid out on Calvary. You are beautiful and you are capable! So remember to live with fearless Grace, Love Christ and Feed His Sheep and Pray past your desire. You are worthy to praise the Lord and Most of All You are loved.
