When I taught, in order to get the attention of the class, I would use different crowd control techniques, like clap once if you can hear my voice, and hands up mouths closed, but one that I used often to get the chatter and the distraction of the room to a silent attentive focus on me was, 1, 2, 3 all eyes on me. And they would say 1,2,3 all eyes on you
