Keeping A Standard With Blended Families
What do you do when its seems like your destiny has died?
It’s very easy to follow a family member or a leader when things are going great and they are saying and doing what makes you feel good about your self.
But the real test is when things are bad and are getting worse & you will be surprised who’s willing to get down and dirty for that.
Tragedy will hit’s every family eventually, And there is always someone to blame, In this case it would have been Elimelech Naomi’s husband.
It was his idea to leave Beth-le-hem judah during a famine to live in a Moab.
While living in Moab his two sons find wives and all of a sudden the father and sons all die leaving the 3 women to fend for themselves..
But was it Elimelech fault?
Or was God causing famine, tragedy as a way to push Namoi & Ruth into her destiny..
See Tragedy will teach you,
who you can count on in tuff times
who believes in you when it seems like your failing
Gods Sovereignty (supreme power & authority) is always in control no matter what has happen in our lives he still Loves us and wants us in his perfect will.
Naomi gave the girls an exit strategy, Orpah took it and returned to Moab and we never heard about her again.
Ruth remained and became the mother of many in which Jesus was born..
Naomi was depressed, she felt God had turned his back on her and felt bitter.
Yet Ruth looked beyond her pain and saw her destiny… (she clave to her)
What an unusual relationship with a person who isn’t your birth mother..
How Do you see your spouses parents?
What do you call them?
if its Mr. & Mrs. then we already know how you see them..
When your child gets married what type of in-law are you going to be?
Is it possible that some relationships aren’t as good as they should because the lack of respect for the others parents?
