God created this world perfect and free from all suffering, pain, and death. But we saw that this all changed when Adam and Eve chose to trust what the deceiver said instead of trusting what their loving creator had told them. We learned that God is letting the horrible condition of this world continue until all have seen the full results of choosing the path Lucifer chose and until all have seen how amazing God’s true character really is. We also saw that Jesus came to pay our penalty for our sin, but ultimately to show us the character of God.
As Jesus was nearing the end of His time here on earth, he was spending time with His disciples just before he was crucified. He told them that He wasn’t going to be with them for much longer. This was a very unsettling thought to them.
Jesus
We do not need to be afraid of the end of the world as we know it.

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
God wants us to know about and be ready for his second coming. In fact, someone has estimated that the Bible mentions the second coming 2500 times. The Bible is very clear on how He will come.
Why is Jesus coming back?
Why is Jesus coming back?
We see all through the Bible the desire God has to be with his people.
After Adam and Eve sinned, God came down and we read that he was “walking in the garden in the cool of the day” . He wanted to be close to them even though they had sadly just chosen to sin. After that, they were separated from Him because of their sins.
Fast forward to the time of the Israelites, God’s chosen people. God told Moses,
And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.
Then Jesus came to be with us—to be one of us, to be in our midst.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
And fast forward to the future after Jesus comes back, we read,
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
