Psalm 37:23 KJV 1900
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: And he delighteth in his way.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT THE STEPS OF A GOOD MAN ARE ORDERED BY THE LORD?

If the steps of a good man are ordered by Lord means that the steps of a good man are directed by the Lord

He’s directed by the Lord

Proverbs 3:
Proverbs 3:5–6 KJV 1900
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.
Psalm 48:14 KJV 1900
For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death.

If the steps of a good man are ordered by Lord means the steps of a good man are guided by the Lord

Psalm 48:14 KJV 1900
For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death.

If the steps of a good man are ordered by Lord means the steps of a good man are led by the Lord

Psalm 25:5 KJV 1900
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: For thou art the God of my salvation; On thee do I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:5 KJV 1900
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: For thou art the God of my salvation; On thee do I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:5
psalm 25:
Teaches that if we are to prove the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God, we must
Teaches that if we are to prove the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God, we must
Teaches that if we are to prove the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God, we must
Be not conformed to this world
Be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
That by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Are you will to hand over control of your life to God and do whatever He want you to do?
If you have trouble giving Him control it’s because you don’t trust Him enough and If you have trouble trusting Him it’s because you don’t KNOW him enough.
As we know HIm, we come to love Him, as we love Him, we come to Trust Him,as we trust Him, we come to obey Him, and as we obey Him, we are blessed by Him!

If we want the Lord to Order our Steps

we must have faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ
Proverbs 3:5–6 KJV 1900
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs
We must be in prayer daily
Luke 18:1 KJV 1900
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV 1900
Pray without ceasing.
1 thessalonians 5
Jeremiah 33:3 KJV 1900
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
We must be led and filled with the Holy Ghost
Romans 8:14 KJV 1900
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Ephesians 5:18 KJV 1900
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Ephesians 5:18

A good man is not a perfect man

Psalm 37:23–24 KJV 1900
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: And he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: For the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.
Every once in a while, a good man will get side-tracked. Sin has away of knocking at your door.
throughout the bible there were good men who got side tracked and messed up
Noah was a good man, but he got drunk
Moses was a good man, but he killed a man
King David was a good man, but he committed adultery
Peter was a good man, but he cussed somebody out.
But the good thing is that when we mess up and sin, God “will not utterly cast us down, for the Lord upholdeth us in his hand.”
But we must ask God for forgiveness, He will forgive you and give you another chance.

Conclusion

A good man is one who follows God, trusts him, and tries to do his will . God watches over and direct every step that he takes. If you would like to have God direct your way, then seek his advice before you step out.
Psalm 48:
I am reminded of a story about a broken vase. Our life is like a broken vase that was broken when it fell off the shelf. Instead of throwing the vase away, the owner of the vase goes and buy some super glue to put that vase back together again. Likewise, sometimes our lives get shattered by sin, but God is able to put us back together again.
Instead of using the super glue, God uses the blood of Jesus Christ to clean us up and He uses the power of the Holy Spirit to put us back together again. It matter not how bad we mess up, Jesus Christ is able to straighten up our life.

When you allow the Lord to order your steps, there will be peace
When you allow the Lord to order your steps, there will be joy
When you allow the Lord to order your steps, there will be Power
When you allow the Lord to order your steps, there will be victory
When you allow the Lord to order your steps, you can shout
Because you will be blessed going in and going out
You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the field
You will be the head and not the tail
You will be above and not beneath
