Proverbs 27:17 NKJV
17 As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

1. We are not ment to do this alone.

(NKJV) 46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,
46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,
every thing about us is made to be and Go together/
the lie of the enemy is that we should be able to make it alone

2. Some need are placed in our life by divine design

The lie that we are grown and we should be able to do this alone comes from pride.
(NKJV) 18 Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.
18 Pride goes before destruction,
Or sometimes can be fear.
Timothy 1:6–7 (NKJV) 6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
18 Pride goes before destruction,
but the truth is that sometimes God allows need in my life so that he could meet the need through you!
6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
And a haughty spirit before a fall.
(NKJV) 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
And a haughty spirit before a fall.
16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

3. We are commanded not to isolate.

Hebrews 10:24–25 NKJV
24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
we are suppose to be in this together.
24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
we are called to stir each other up to good works.
not forsaking the assembling our self together
we are not together because we are pitiful but we are powerful.
question: what keeps me from wanting to be a part of the group?
how could that hurt our growth?
