Theme: Moses intercedes for Israel and God forgives. The pain God had toward us is now joy because at the Cross, God did not relent. Instead, He laid the sins of His people on Jesus, not so we will make more golden calves, but so we can have the power to never start them! God’s desire is to bring a people who can channel His love to humanity. This is His mission and He includes us in it.
