Talk it Out
Pastor Robert explained th econcept of the Doldrums. It’s a place that’s kind of dead and hopeless. All of us have experienced that state at some point in our lives. Discuss why you think we often drift into the Doldrums.
One of the first responses we have when we end up in the Doldrums is that we start “faking it” Why do you feel that faking it is such a natural response? What are the risks of such a response?
Many of us have believed the statement, "time heals all wounds". But Pastor Robert reminded us that time does not heal. Only the Holy Spirit can heal us. Why is it that we place our hope in time to heal our wounds instead of trusting God in our circumstance?
