Is the phrase “that is just not who I am” valid to permit one to ignore people that need to hear the gospel?
How about the phrase “I’m just not good at that”?
How about the phrase “those people are just to different from me”?
Or “I am who I am”

If we have decided that we are not satisfied with our current effort in this work then we need to identify and fix what is stopping us from doing more?
Is it fear that is stopping us?
Is it fear of being ridiculed?
26 Woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did their fathers to the false prophets.
Is it fear of not being a good teacher.
Is it a lack of knowledge.

What are some more things that could be freaking us out or holding us back?

More than likely if you do not share the gospel with them they will not have the chance to hear the saving message of Christ.

How we are raised will more than likely determine how we turn out.

And when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ 36 So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?” 37 And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”
