God has blessed and honored women and mothers from the beginning and He instructs us to do the same.
To day is the day we have set aside to do just that.

She does many things that are unpleasant, menial, often overlooked by the family
 
16     She considers a field and buys it;
     From her profits she plants a vineyard.
Contrary to the beliefs of some, God has blessed women with wisdom, knowledge and understanding that sometimes exceed that of men, and we men would do well to heed their advice.
17     She girds herself with strength,
     And strengthens her arms.

And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
22     She makes tapestry for herself;

The woman that fears and reverences the Lord (lives it) is to be praised, we are to give her the honor due her.
It is the most important attribute of all
 
31     Give her of the fruit of her hands,
     And let her own works praise her in the gates.
Give her the credit she rightfully deserves and don’t be afraid to give her the honor and praise due her
