What God’s Will is for My Life

The Question—I just wish I knew what God’s will is for my life?? What?? It’s perfectly clear from scripture what God’s will is for our lives and this has nothing to with where we live or what we do for a living. Our purpose in this life is far greater than a house in a neighborhood, or a job or whatever else we reduce it down to. Our purpose is to be instruments in the hands of our redeemer.
The Answer—Our purpose is to be instruments in the hands of our redeemer.
Listen to the words Paul writes to the Corinthian church in chapter 5 of his second letter to them.
The Challenge—Rise up sleepy Christian
Are you content with just your own salvation??
Do you not know of anyone who doesn’t know Jesus, who isn’t saved?
Do you not have a healthy fear of the Lord and what will become of their souls??
Do you not realize that you and I are the ones being called, being sent, into this dark and broken world with God’s message of Grace??
Oh wake up and rise up sleepy Christians, for we do not know the hour of our Lords return!!
You’ve been given the armor of God, not so we can stay in our homes or just to attend church on Sunday, but so we can go out into enemy territory and reclaim it for Christ, so we can battle against the forces of darkness and advance the kingdom and reclaim souls for Christ!!!!!!
verses

Do Not Love the World

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.
