Timothy and Epaphroditus
19 a Wish (Pos.) I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon,
b Purpose so that I too may be cheered by news of you.
20 a Reason (19a-19b) For I have no one like him,
b Characterization who will be genuinely concerned for your welfare.
21 Reason (20a-20b) For they all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.
22 a Affirmation But you know Timothy’s proven worth,
