To give thanks is love. It is worship. It is the proper position we should maintain before our God. This makes sense of course. Why then is it sometimes so hard to do? We do need to be reminded sometimes, but we should eventually becomes creatures of habit and intentionally grateful in light of who we are now in Christ.
