What is Integrity

Integrity is honesty, sincerity, and singleness of purpose
Integrity is a virtue that all saints should possess
Solomon writes in
Proverbs 11:3 KJV 1900
The integrity of the upright shall guide them: But the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
Therefore, we can see that integrity is the opposite of perverseness
Being Holy Ghost filled brings about spiritual integrity, which Paul expresses as being the fruit of the Spirit
The fruit of the Spirit has 9 virtues or characteristics, which Paul gives in verses 22 through 23 of our lesson text

Spiritual Virtues

reads
Galatians 5:22–23 KJV 1900
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Fruit grows because of what is on the inside; therefore, these virtues should not have to be forcefully made by a person to live. They come as a part of your natural existence once you are filled with the Spirit
Basically, these virtues are the real evidence of being Spirit filled, more than speaking in an unknown tongue.
These 9 virtues are not judged by God or His word; there is no law against these behaviour types. As a matter of fact, to be found guilty of these virtues carries no guilt or condemnation by the believer.
The works of the flesh carries a weight of guilt. It may temporarily appease the flesh, but they will burden the soul.

Where is the Struggle?

reads
Galatians 5:17 KJV 1900
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
The word lust means to desire, to yearn, to crave, or to long for something. The flesh craves to go against the things of the Spirit.
Salvation redeems your soul, not your flesh. But, salvation and the indwell power of the Spirit gives the believer power over the flesh.
Being Holy Ghost filled, your flesh will tempt your soul into sinning to fulfill its desires.
This is why we are instructed in by Paul
Galatians 5:24 KJV 1900
And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
We have to crucify the flesh by destroying the affections and lusts of the flesh. Basically, you can starve your fleshly affections by denying its lusts.

Conclusion

In conclusion, you are engaged in spiritual warfare with yourself more than you are with Satan.
Our plea should be to ask God to help us to overcome ourselves. Learn to tell your lusts no and tell the Holy Spirit yes.
Ask God to reveal more of Him and His nature and less of you and the worldly ways. You will imitate what you see,
Now, let us walk and live in Spiritual Integrity!!!
