(NLT) — 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
KEY POINT- It is easy to be thankful about some things, its much harder to be thankful about all things.
POINT- It is God’s will for us to be thankful.
DEFINE- This word will comes from the greek word thelema which means desire, purpose, or expectation.
QUESTION- How is it God can expect us to be thankful in all situations?
MAIN POINT- God’s character defines my life.
God can expect me to be thankful because I expect some things from God, based off his character revealed through his word.
I can expect…
