Well we can say that with out doubt it has been a difficult week for many around us in Paradise and Magalia and the losses are tremendous and this week we come to our annual thanksgiving holiday..

What I love about thanksgiving holiday is it comes regardless of what kind of year you have had... and it makes you stop count your blessings.
The other day driving down skyway and there are all these signs saying thank you to the fireman... in moments like this we actually see the best in others...
When we hosted evacuees last week meals came in... people responded immediately.
I know that many of you have been active in your community trying to help in some way... and I know that it’s just the beginning for many families ... there are going to be many families starting over... from nothing..
Paul instructed us that thanksgiving should be done on a regular basis.
Paul instruction in : “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
God’s will for us in Christ is to live from a place of gratitude..
We are told to give thanks in all circumstances through praying rejoicing and giving thanks..

But the other thing is that they are something that we are to continue doing.. Prayer is our ongoing conversation with God— Paul tells us to be in continuous mode of listening sharing and sharing and listening relationship..
One of the ways we can show our thankfulness is through our generosity.... Loving God and others not only in our words but also in deeds in Truth… Bob has shared with us some ways that we can help and be a blessing to others.. Encourage you to get along someone and walk with them in this time of need… The danger is getting overwhelmed… Jesus said if you have done it to the least of these you’ve done it to me.
