A nice older man from Florida bought a Camper from me over the phone and he dove out. He arrived and we talked business for a while. After a little bit he said, " you believe in God, don't you". I said "yes". He got excited and shared with me a fortune cookie saying he got many many years ago with me

IT SAID…

"Fear knocked at the door, Faith answered, No one was there."

Think about that for a second… FEAR KNOCKED.... FAITH ANSWERED.... NO ONE WAS THERE...

Fear Knocks for Men : For Women

He Knocks for the pretty; for the not so pretty

FEAR KNOCKS for you.. He KNOCKS for me...

Maybe it’s fear of loo

Maybe it is a fear of DEATH.

Maybe it is a fear of Job Loss

Maybe it is a fear of School

Maybe it is a fear of Failing as an Elder

Maybe it is a fear of loosing Friends

Maybe it is a fear of being laughed at.....

FEAR KNOCKS IN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS......

When FEAR KNOCKS and you are standing at the door alone - He Paralyzes you.. He has POWER over you!!! HE WINS..

FAITH TRUMPS FEAR

When I let FAITH answer the DOOR...

SATAN - oops I mean FEAR NO LONGER Paralyzes ME.

FEAR NO LONGER HAS POWER over ME

SATAN - NO LONG WINS in my LIFE..

HOW DO WE GET A FAITH TO ANSWER THE DOOR...

SO FAITH COMES FROM HEARING, AND HEARING THROUGH THE WORD OF CHRIST.

We have to dig into GOD’s word and understand His will… This BUILDS our Faith...

Once we have established a Faith, we need to know where to place it?

SO THAT YOUR FAITH MIGHT NOT REST IN THE WISDOM OF MEN, BUT IN THE POWER OF GOD.

When the POWER of GOD answers the DOOR - FEAR is no where to be found...

We MUST TRUST in the WISDOM and POWER of GOD.

Christ, Through HIS word tells you to TRUST Him and HAVE FAITH in HIm....

IN FAITH YOU MUST ANSWER THE DOOR…

THEN and ONLY THEN will your EARTHLY FEARS DISAPPEAR..

If you have not been baptized and SIN has paralyzed you… Christ is knocking at your door...

If you have fallen away and closed the door on Christ… Christ is knocking at your door...

In both cases, if you ANSWER IN FAITH - Christ is at the door with open arms....

If you are ready to ANSWER the LORDS KNOCK and be baptism - The water is ready...

if you have fallen away or need the prayer of the church
