Not a holiday to skip over.

Thankfulness is much much more

For starters it is Gods will for you life

1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV

give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Thess 5:

Almost every list of things christians should do or be known for in the bible includes being thankful. Dont believe me read any of the epistles.

Just about every book of the bible tells us to be thankful.

It is a sacrifice of worship to God

Psalm 50:14 ESV

Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High,

Its the crop God is trying to yield from your life

1 Corinthians 9:11–12 ESV
