As Pastor Randy wraps up 1 Peter chapter 2, he reminds us, as Peter did, that suffering unjustly identifies us as God's chosen people. As disciples of Christ, we are to pattern our lives after the life of Christ, which includes suffering. He says "we are most like Jesus when we suffer for doing good". The unjust suffering that Christ endured wasn't random-- it was by his wounds that we are healed, and what a blessed salvation that is for us, as followers of Jesus.
