Time To Power Up
1 Corinthians
So let's look at .
Paul had spent about 18 months in Corinth on his first visit there.
Now he writes his first letter to warn the believers against basing their faith on the wisdom of men instead of God's power.
One of the ways he does this is to remind them of what his aim was in first coming to them and how he came.
First we'll talk about the aim of Paul's (and our) ministry.
The Power of God is a Crucified Christ.
Power has come to us already:
Do we really understand the power of God?
Don’t have just a form of godliness.
God has given us His spirit of Power.
Do we really understand the power of God?
Does your power bring glory to you or to God?
