 A. For His Glorification

  1. Jn. 13:31 – Speaking of the cross

   a. For strength to meet the cross (but more than that)

   b. For the power to glorify the Father by his death, resurrection and ascension[i]

 B. His Purpose

  1.To give eternal life (v. 2)

II. He Prays for His Disciples – v. 6-19

III. He Prays for the Church – v. 20-26
